This is the time of year when the country is typically jumping-for-joy that Winter has gone and Spring is here. Well, Spring has sprung– but where is the fun?
Unless you’ve been leaving under a rock, you’re probably well aware of the Coronavirus pandemic. In certain parts of the United States its worse than other parts, though.
For instance, I usually stop by my favorite hair salon in Brentwood, MO (near St Louis) when I’m in town, but I can’t because the entire State has a travel ban! I like Kansas City BBQ, but many of the restaurants are only serving curbside (which doesn’t help when you’re a picky-eater)! Even Chipotle restaurants are getting on my nerve since they require using a mobile app in order to be able to purchase food. It’s ridiculous. It doesn’t feel like Spring– yet, anyway.
I have faith that this virus will end soon, but it can’t come soon enough. I mean, c’mon: America getting stricken with the Coronavirus at the tail-end of Winter? Don’t the Gods understand that most America has cabin fever around this time of year anyway?
Oh what fun we’ll have in the future. If nothing else, these types of experiences help us to count our blessings.
